Our wonderfully busy clients in the city of Charlotte needed our help to transform the rental property they purchased into their home! They love the beach, entertaining and collecting colorful one-of-a-kind artwork so we created a space that embodies all of the above and then some! By knocking down a few walls we were able to come up with a better layout for entertaining and enjoying day-to-day activities. Then we layered in the perfect finishes to create the Coastal Chic Sanctuary that they so much longed for.

Meet our Ballantyne Modern Farmhouse! We made sure to make every inch of this kitchen work for our clients in their massive house renovation. They needed storage, so we went up with some dramatic double uppers, added a pot filler at the stove that now gets used daily and a large island for the entire family that serves double duty as it now hides the microwave! Let’s not forget to mention the basically maintenance free quartz countertop and backsplash! Love making life easier and more beautiful for our clients!!!

Welcome to our Montibello Home Tour….The place where our clients can relax however and wherever they feel like it!

 At the end of 2022 we converted the living + dining room into a stunning Primary Suite! Then at the end of 2023 we came back and added a fun getaway space they like to call their “Tree House” because it is surrounded by windows with views of their trees on their picture perfect property!! The Tree House is fully loaded… a custom bar, another bathroom, games galore and tons of lounge space for movie night!

This new construction golfers paradise is fully loaded with a golf simulator, putting green, fitness area, kitchen, lounge, bathroom and two car garage. But lets not forget all of these gorgeous finishes we selected...lets start with a gorgeous reclaimed wood accent wall that greets one upon entry! Talk about texture for days!!! Next the full sized bathroom boasts black hex tile floors that slip under a custom wood floating vanity. And where do we begin when one enters the open space where the lounge, kitchen, fitness area and golf simulator live??? Maybe at the long custom white sectional that feels like a cloud or the picket tile and floating wood shelves in the kitchen. Wherever your eye takes you in this space they are sure to be wide and starry!

We enjoyed every moment working with our golf enthusiast on his unique space, from space planning and specifying all of the finishes as well as the furniture and accessories! We hope you love it as much as we do!

A mom and her boys were in need of a refreshing new space! We updated the kitchen and living room with lighter, classic finishes to give the home a brighter feel. Using soft textures and fabrics the space became calming to come home to. By preserving some of the older elements of this 100 year old house we were able to keep the original charm.

The Queen has arrived and she is GLORIOUS!!! This powder room went from drab to fab with a combination of this trendy Schumacher "Queen of Spain" black and white wallcovering and the classy pedestal sink and gorgeous mirror. Long live the Queen!

A sweet little nursery ready for baby girl to arrive! This adorable space is loaded with sweet woodland critters, super soft textures, tons of storage and even a special place for the fur babies to hang out with their new baby sister!

Gold & Gray Perfection!

We received a cry for help from an awesome Blogger in Atlanta! She had three furniture and décor companies sponsoring her dining room remodel so she reached out to us for help to select pieces from each company to pull the entire look together and still maintain her glam sense of style! We were able to achieve this for her without ever leaving Charlotte through our E-Design process! We created a concept incorporating all of her wish lists and from there we provided her the shopping list to make it happen!

 Her vision for the room was a classy, timeless yet modern space with just a touch of bohemian using rich colors to create a happy, cozy feeling. The tufted gray dining chairs paired with the modern farmhouse dining table and gold accents against the soft white backdrop did just the trick! And the pop of pinks, purples and blues in the area rug added just enough color and spunk to match her and her sweet families sassy personalities!

Our homeowner purchased a very modern home and she wanted us to still keep the style modern but warm it up! We tailored everything to our clients modern glam taste, communicated the design with them electronically, they handed us a key and VOILA! They came back to their gorgeous home with a warm and inviting modern Master Suite, Living Room, Dining Room, Family Room, Home Office and Powder Room!

Modern Farmhouse

“I dream of shiplap walls, chippy paint, subway tile, farmhouse sinks and barn doors” 

Well this home office doesn't need all of that but we definitely were able to incorporate the shiplap walls and barn doors! We renovated an open concept dining room into a private home office by closing off the new wall with custom sliding barn doors and new trim to match the rest of the existing homes charm. Then we designed a custom shiplap builtin to stretch the entire wall behind where the new desk sits to house all of her files, electronics and personal decor items! Now our client can have a little taste of modern farmhouse in her own home to work in everyday! 

Classic Comfort!

Sometimes a client just needs help finishing a space! This family reached out to us because they were tired of living in a home that didn’t feel finished. They had just remodeled the bones of their home with an expansion, all new wood floors, trimwork, etc and purchased brand new sofas but just needed us to make the space feel complete yet functional for their large family of 5 (plus two fur babies!) We were able to achieve this for them by incorporating a large area rug to fill the space, upholstered ottomans and poufs, accent seating, lighting and a bunch of comfy pillows to pull it all together!

...Fast Forward, one year later and they asked us to come back and do their Home Office!

Southpark homeowners needed a relaxing space to come home to with their two little ones that encompassed the charm of their Southpark home as well as reflected all their personalities!

Their master bedroom is the perfect balance of classy and comfort with just the right amount of energy to start their day getting their two little boys ready! The gender neutral nursery is loaded with super soft textures and eye catching artwork for the entire family to enjoy for hours! And lastly, the living room boasts strategically sprinkled custom art, family photos and memories to warm up this Southpark living room, finally giving these new Charlotte residents a place that feels like home.

The owner of Remax Metro wanted to break out of the box and create a chic but yet inviting space to grab the attention of the millennial generation and turn them into first time home buyers. Taking advantage of the corner ground floor unit of a high rise on one of the busiest intersections in the desirable Plaza Midwood neighborhood of Charlotte seemed like the perfect canvas to do so!

Interactive technology and sparkling chandeliers catch the eye of the passersby and lure them off the street and into the space, while the luxe finishes and ultra-modern décor create a trendy space for them to have a unique one-on-one experience with an agent. One is greeted with a glass of wine at the café area which boosts a bold midnight blue cabinet framed with a waterfall white quartz countertop.  While above the over scale herringbone ceramic tile creates a stunning backdrop to floating white shelves staged with accessories to take advance of the high ceilings.  Taking center stage is a large focal wall of white glistening stacked stone surrounding  two large 50” TV monitors that can be used while relaxing on one of the plush charcoal sofas. These ideas are reminiscent of a residential space rather than what one typically perceives of as a commercial office allowing the future home owners to draw inspiration and feel comfortable.
